The letters of Anne Frank’s father, Otto, reveal the painful struggle to save his family in this film as he desperately attempts to secure American visas before the family ultimately goes into hiding. The film also includes interviews with Anne Frank’s surviving family members. Eva Schloss, Anne Frank’s stepsister, will join the film’s director, Paula Fouce, in a panel following the film to discuss the recently discovered lost letters of Otto Frank with Stephen Smith, director of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute and UNESCO’s chairman on genocide education. 4 p.m. Free.
