“SONDHEIM UNSCRIPTED”

Impro Theatre kicks off the season with what Entertainment Today calls “the most uproarious, side-splitting laughter-till-you-drop show.” “Sondheim UnScripted” is a completely improvised musical in the style of Broadway’s acclaimed artist, Stephen Sondheim (“Follies,” “Into the Woods, “A Little Night Music”). Impro Theatre’s cast works with the musicians to create songs riffing on the intricate rhymes, counter melodies and complex themes that are hallmarks of Sondheim’s work. Co-directed by Dan O’Connor and Michele Spears. Through Sept. 27. 8 p.m. $29-$54. Falcon Theatre, 4252 Riverside Drive, Burbank. (818) 955-8101. ” target=”_blank”>jshabbat.com.
