Ah, to be human.
How fearlessly we feel;
and at our core, we know
the truth: that it’s but a moment
here. But alas, we get swept up
in the winds of this world
and our heart can feel
the tugs and the whirls.
These feelings they span
from the north to the south;
storms whipping from coast to coast —
at what cost? you might ask.

What is a chest of gold
if guarded not by booby traps?
A simple find is not rich,
there’s no fun in that.
Ah, the value,
of struggle and strife,
the way they exalt heavenly delights.
All the richer we are for our moods
and our minds.
Fearless though blind,
we feel out our way,
growing closer to Love all the time.
