West Coast premiere of a new musical play written/directed by Mark Wesley Curran, starring Danny Di Torrice. It is the story of Melvin Kaplofkis, a fledgling Jewish comic growing up in Brooklyn during the 1950’s and 1960’s. He dreams of making it big in show business, but his family love him too much to let him leave. When local gangsters become involved, Melvin must face the biggest challenge of his life. Runs Jan. 5 through Feb. 9 at the Whitefire Theatre, Sherman Oaks.
