A Divine Embrace (Sukkot)

Your sukkah is a divine embrace but

the sun beats down too hot

and I may be frustrated and I can’t figure out how to build it on my own

so I kick it and it falls.

But we are in this divine embrace

whether we say hello or goodbye

it’s shalom.

braided with hearts and bamboo

We are within this divine embrace

even if we leave and go

for it may rain and I will run for more cover.

Isn’t your God the One who created all?

So, enjoy this playtime.
